Last week, I had my first Trader Joe’s experience. Let me just say, I might never shop anywhere else again. I’m obsessed. Their selection of organic foods both fresh and frozen for such a small store is unparalleled. I actually had to hold myself back from buying carts of ginger cookies and chocolate covered edamame. Stay tuned for a favorites post featuring all things Trader Joe’s. Anyway while I was perusing the store, I found a giant pre-washed bag of kale for a measely $1.99. So of course, I bought it and an entire cart full of other delicious vegetables. I’ve been meaning to try out kale chips recently and this was my perfect opportunity. So here is my version of the Epicurious recipe for Kale Chips.
The garlic and parmesan balance out the natural bite of the kale so well. It’s a great snack to have on hand if you have the munchies and don’t want the calories of regular potato chips. Try out this recipe and lettuce know how your tasty creations turn out!
