Recapping the best, most-challenging year-to-date.
When you change zip codes three times and health insurance four times in one year, it’s safe to say a lot has happened. 2019, you’ve been one heck of a whirlwind. Although the memories and experiences of this year have been bar none, I’m looking forward to 2020 with the hope that there will be less change and more constancy. Let’s recap some of the top moments of 2019!

Took my Physician Assistant accrediting exam (aka the PANCE) and PASSED! Went wedding venue shopping with my parents. Picked the Cathedral of St. Luke and St. Paul in historic Charleston, SC. AND picked out the perfect wedding dress at Bridals by Jodi.

Took my parents to dinner at Blackberry Farm. My husband had the privilege of working in Guest Services there for almost 5 years. It was such a treat getting to see my parents experience the place Cary was so deeply invested in.

Hiked Laurel Falls in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Came to Charleston with my sister, Rachel, and my niece, Ellie, to do some wedding planning and have a Lowcountry respite.

Had a kitchen shower thrown by some of my favorite ladies at St. Johns Parish! Easter with my sister, Cary, and Ellie. Went to a family wedding in Georgia, congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Alex Whitaker! Cheered on the TN Vols baseball team. Celebrated my 26th birthday. Sent out wedding invitations.

FIESTA LIKE THERE’S NO MANANA! Had the most fun bachelorette weekend with my bride tribe! Made a quick trip to Spartanburg to see our favorite married couple, the Todds. Snagged our marriage license and picked up my wedding dress after the final alterations.

GOT MARRIED! Pledged my love to my best friend and forever boyfriend! Honeymooned in Jamaica. Moved in with a guy (yikes! TBD how I feel about that lol)

Spent two nights being wined and dined at Blackberry Mountain and Blackberry Farm. Located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, this resort is absolutely surreal.

Cheered on the Knoxville Smokies. Spent the day at Dollywood riding carousels, log rides, and eating pretzels shaped like butterflies. Played and laughed with my niece.

Moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Got into my first car accident. My mom came and day-tripped up to Myrtle to see our new digs, but not without bags upon bags of my favorite foods from Trader Joes.

Visited Chicago for Cary’s 10-year high school reunion. Got to visit with his sister at Illinois Tech. Supported our niece, Ellie Frances, as she was baptized into the body of Christ.

Celebrated Cary’s 29th birthday with pancakes and homemade carrot cake. Started my career as a Physician Assistant. Went to Charleston to celebrate another Price Family Thanksgiving. Even had a special guest (my mother-in-law) join us for the day!

Went to Cary’s annual Christmas party. Sent our first Christmas cards as a married couple. Visited Night of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens. Celebrated our first Christmas without family but feeling blessed as ever.
This year will be hard to beat. God showed up again and again providing, protecting, and proving himself Lord of all, in both the big and small. Incredibly thankful for the memories made and the lessons learned in this past year. Can’t wait to see what God has planned in the year and decade ahead. May I live each day in the knowledge that I am loved and treasured by God.

I really appreciate your help
