Where are you from?

Grew up in Charleston, SC. My parents lived there for 20 years before moving to Knoxville to be closer to family. I consider myself native to Charleston!

What do you do for a living?

I work as a Physician Assistant in Primary Care. Since graduating in 2018, I’ve worked in the emergency department, critical care/ICU/pulmonary, and hospital medicine. I’m NCCPA Board-Certified and currently practicing in the state of Tennessee.

Where did you go for undergrad?

I graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, AL in 2015 with my Bachelors in Exercise Science. I loved the campus community and was blessed by my four years there.

Where did you go to PA school?

Graduated with my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from South College in Knoxville, TN in 2018.

Are you single, dating, or married?

Happily married to my best friend, Cary Brown. We met online back in 2017 and the rest is history. Got married downtown Charleston, SC in 2019. Going on 5 years of wedded bliss this June!

What do you like to do for fun?

On my days off, you can find me in hanging out with my dog or cooking/baking. I also love daily exercise and outdoor walks. I’ve gotten into reading more recently and love the mental escape.

Are you a person of faith? What do you practice?

Yes, I wholeheartedly believe that I’d be lost without my faith. I’m a professing Christian who thinks that denominations shouldn’t define you. I’ve had a personal relationship with God since I can remember. My faith has shaped me into the woman I am today, and I will forever be giving God the glory for what he has done in and through my life.

What’s you enneagram?

I’m a ONE through and through. One’s are pragmatic, perfectionistic, and principled. Not sure what my wing is since I have tendencies towards both depending on the day or circumstances.
