Valentine’s Day is a week away!
AKA it’s crunch time. So today I’m sharing some fun and delicious recipes to make, bake, and share with the ones you love. Whether you need a gift for your galentine, BFF, neighbor, husband, co-worker, or family, these recipes are the perfect way to show someone how much you care, honor, and love them. Spread the love this Valentine’s Day by giving something homemade, handpicked, and heartfelt!
DISCLAIMER: None of these recipes came from my kitchen. They are all borrowed recipes from fabulous food bloggers with much more experience than myself. That being said, my pictures are my own, and I give each recipe the Kitchy stamp of approval! As I’m sure, you and your family will too. Each recipe can be accessed by clicking the blue box below each description. First up, Chocolate Truffles!
Chocolate Truffles
I am not a truffle expert. This was my first time ever making truffles, hence why they are misshapen and rough around the edges. However, the taste is outta this world! All you need are four ingredients: chocolate, heavy cream, butter, and vanilla extract. Follow the instructions step-by-step and you’ll have no trouble creating these delectable chocolate truffles.

Cake Batter Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies are phenomenal! I’ve only made them once, but they’re already proving to be a favorite. Crunchy outside, chewy inside. Milk and white chocolate chips with gobs of sprinkles. Yep, sounds like perfection to me! The best part is you can pick whatever cake mix and sprinkle combination you want. I used yellow cake with multi-color sprinkles for the cookies I featured below. But whether you’re celebrating V-Day, Christmas, or Tuesday, the possibilities are endless.

Slutty Brownies
No, I did not coin the name for these nummy brownies, but I can attest to the fact that they are indeed slutty! It’s like a chocolate chip cookie, brownie, and OREO had a baby together, and the outcome was explosive. The first time I made these my kitchen smelled like pure sugar for a solid day. These are exceptionally rich making them the perfect Valentine’s Day dessert. If you wanna woo or romance someone, this recipe is calling your name! Nothing says “I love you” like not one, not two, but three layers of sweet chocolate-y deliciousness.

Nothing says love like something homemade. I can’t stress that enough! It’s definitely easier to buy a box of chocolates, but the sentiment behind making something from scratch is unparalleled. So this year, veer from the norm, do something different, step outside your comfort zone. Make a recipe you’ve never made before and share it with someone you love. Hope y’all have a safe and blessed Valentine’s Day!

YUM!!!!!!!
