“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” – Anne of Green Gables
This month was jam-packed with fun things for the first time in a very long time. I went to Savannah, GA with my husband for a weekend away and went to Charleston for a bachelorette weekend. Worked a lot and had to make some really important decisions about the future. October was a doozy! Here’s a look at some of the highlights from the past month…
WHAT I BOUGHT
MOVIES/TV SHOWS WATCHED

PLACES I TRAVELLED
Savannah, GA: Cary & I took a weekend trip to explore the Hostess City of the South. Went to Tybee Island, the Telfair Museum, Leopold’s Ice Cream, Forsyth Park, River Street and so much more. Check out my Savannah City Guide here!
Charleston, SC: Quick trip to my hometown to celebrate a dear friend’s bachelorette weekend. We walked around King Street, ate dinner at Butcher & Bee, and had ice cream flights at Off Track Ice Cream. Yes, flights of ice cream and they were just as delicious as they sound!
ONE FEAR I CONQUERED
Carved a pumpkin! Hadn’t carved a pumpkin in years. We did it every year growing up, but as an adult, there seems to be less and less motivation to do holiday traditions. Unfortunately three days later, the flies decided to attack our pumpkins. Truly the worst. But we did get to enjoy them for a whole 72 hours!

This month has been my lowest intensity workout month in a really long time. Normally that would give me anxiety and fear that I was gonna gain weight, but somehow I’m feeling a lot more at peace with my body image right now. I’m definitely not at my heaviest, but I’m also not at my skinniest. I’m content with my body, and that’s a beautiful place to be. I promised myself this month that I’d try 80 Day Obsession on Beachbody. Did I try it? No. But I did exercise! Give yourself some grace these next couple months, your body needs it.
