and in the blink of an eye, 2021 came to and end!
I truly can’t believe 2021 has come to an end. Compared to the train-wreck that was 2020, this year FLEW. Not to mention it brought with it a lot of emotions: joy, loss, excitement, pain, adventure, and growth to name a few. My husband and I are so fortunate, and I think this year showed me just how blessed we are. I’ve been trying to focus more on all the ways God’s been present and provided for us this year. In 2020, I lost my first PA job out of school due to COVID. But thankfully it lead me to a specialty which I actually really enjoy: hospital medicine. Truthfully, we can’t always understand or fathom why things happen the way they do. But in God’s goodness and sovereignty, we can trust that all things work together for our good and for his glory. I pray that you start 2022 holding onto hope knowing full well that you are loved and that God’s got it.

FITNESS UPDATE
Still loving Muscle Burns Fat Advanced by Beachbody. But this month I also really enjoyed going on outdoor walks. I don’t have a gym membership and I haven’t since 2020. But honestly I don’t even miss it, except for maybe the ellipticals and the stair stepper. But I love being active in new ways and doing lots of body weight and free weight exercises. For me, exercise isn’t about calories burned. It’s about doing something that feels good for my body. It’s about treating it with respect and loving it enough to want to be in shape and stay healthy. That’s a form of self-love that I always want to prioritize.
